I am Vanessa Heller, an educator in Southern California for 22 years and counting. I currently teach middle school, serve as the director and trainer in inquiry/problem-based learning at the Oak Park Inquiry Institute (OPII), I am a peer coach, and site Tech Innovator to facilitate relevant tech related best practices to colleagues. I am also a credentialed Reading Specialist, and GATE/TAG certified. I hold an MA in Language and Literacy. I present on gifted education and inquiry several times a year at various educational conferences such as CUE, California League of Schools (CLS), CA Association for the Gifted (CAG), and Tri County GATE Council.You can probably find me in class, on Twitter, or at a local EdCamp!
